Alkanet root is a botanical dye with a history stretching back to ancient Greece and Rome — used for centuries to add rich purple and red tones to everything from cosmetics to textiles. In this bar, it gives the soap its deep, dusty purple hue entirely on its own, with nothing synthetic added.
 
The scent is soft and layered. Ylang ylang opens with a lush, slightly exotic floral, lavender brings its familiar calming quality to the heart of the blend, and cedarwood anchors everything into a warm, grounding base. It's a combination that slows you down in the best possible way.
Handcrafted in small batches in Spokane Valley using the hot process method, and naturally colored with alkanet root — no two bars are identical, and that's exactly the point.
